Athos tightens his jaw and lifts his chin, his cold and unflinching gaze settling on Porthos. Still, he cannot argue with the demand, not even on principle. He steps by both men with gaze straight ahead, looking at neither of them, and coming to stand in their living room with ramrod-straight posture and a stony expression.
